ఒడిశాలోని బాలాసోర్ జిల్లా ప‌రిధిలోని బ‌హ‌నగా రైల్వే స్టేష‌న్ స‌మీపంలో నిమిషాల వ్య‌వ‌ధిలోనే మూడు రైళ్లు ఢీకొన్న ఘ‌ట‌న యావ‌త్ దేశాన్ని విషాదంలోకి నెట్టివేసింది.

ఈ ప్ర‌మాద ఘ‌ట‌న‌లో 280 మందికి పైగా ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. 900 మందికి పైగా ప‌లు ఆస్ప‌త్రుల్లో చికిత్స పొందుతున్నారు.
అయితే సిగ్నలింగ్ వ్య‌వ‌స్థ‌లో లోప‌ంతోనే ఈ ప్ర‌మాదం జరిగినట్లు అధికారులు నివేదిక సమర్పించారు. ప్ర‌స్తుతానికి అయితే ఘ‌ట‌నా స్థ‌లంలో స‌హాయ‌క చ‌ర్య‌లు ముగిశాయి.

ఈ ఘోర ప్ర‌మాద ఘ‌ట‌న‌ను ప‌లు జాతీయ చానెల్స్ డ్రోన్ల ద్వారా చిత్రీక‌రించాయి. మూడు రైళ్ల బోగీలు చెల్లాచెదురుగా ప‌డిపోయాయి.
ప్ర‌యాణికుల మృత‌దేహాలు తునాతున‌క‌లైపోయాయి. వారి బ్యాగులు, ఇత‌ర సామాగ్రి న‌లిగిపోయాయి. ఆ దృశ్యాల‌ను చూస్తుంటే భీతావాహ ప‌రిస్థితిని త‌ల‌పిస్తోంది.
