Vidhaatha: Indian High Commission London has celebrated International mother language day in collaboration with Bangladesh High commission in London on the 21st of Feb.

On this occasion four personalities who have made ground breaking work for our matru bhashas were invited to a panel discussion which was chaired by the celebrated author and Minister of culture Sri Amish Tripathi .

We are proud to say among the 4 panelists our telugu mahila Hema YellaPragada was also present to speak about the status of Telugu language in the UK and how to improve the number of students studying telugu language in the UK. The other theee panelist who were present were Rishi Handa, Subhanu Saxena and Gurch Singh.

A memorandum was presented by C K Naidu on (behalf of Telugu community) and Punjabi community to the Indian High Commissioner His Excellency V Doraiswami.
