ISRO successfully launched India’s first solar satellite Aditya L1. At 11:50 am on Saturday, ISRO’s PSLV blasted into sky with the Aditya L1 satellite. After 63 minutes, the satellite will begin its separation process from the rocket. At that time, the satellite will reach the highest orbit of the earth. After that Aditya L1 orbits in the same orbit for16 days.

After attaining the desired speed, starts its journey towards the Sun. So it traveled in the universe for 110 days.. 15 lakh km to earth. Then remains constant at a point L1. But this distance is only one percent compared to the distance between the Earth and the Sun.

Aditya L1’s payloads will carry out research on the corona around the Sun, surface temperature of the Sun, occurrence of solar storms, space weather etc. ISRO said that it has been decided to place Aditya L1 near the L1 point so that there is no disruption to the research in case of eclipses.
